English World 7 is supported by a specially written dictionary containing new vocabulary and all the words from the primary levels. There is no dedicated dictionary for the final three levels of the course: dictionary work is based on the Macmillan School Dictionary and students are expected to have their own dictionaries for class and homework.

Exam Practice Book

All four skills and use of English are examined after every two units. The format follows the task types that students will encounter in external exams and familiarizes students with the range of questions they will have to answer. The tasks reflect the material of the Student's Book, so learners can focus on the exam task itself and check how well they have taken in the language they have been learning.

There are two longer papers: one for mid-year and another for end-of-year. Progress charts at the end of the book help students, teachers and parents check where progress has been made in each of the skills during the year, as well as weaker areas, and there is a useful section on study and exam preparation tips.
