Footprints is a six-level, story-based course for primary school children who have already started learning English at preschool, or children with no previous knowledge of English who are being taught at a faster pace. The clear language progression throughout the syllabus follows that of the CEFR and Cambridge Young Learners exams, and provides a strong emphasis on cross-curricular content and cultural awareness in every unit.

The strong story element uses a series of clues and riddles to lead learners to the following episode in order to solve a puzzle. Levels 1-2 take children on a magical journey with fairy-tale characters in search of the treasure at the end of the rainbow, while levels 3-4 continue the quest in a mystery-adventure context to match learners’ growing maturity. Levels 5-6 develop children’s learning strategies and language skills as they follow the exploits of the Footprints Club characters.
